Tobago's beach with the most popularity is the Pigeon Point Beach. The beach is covered in white sand and is decorated with palm trees. The waters are calm which makes it a perfect area for travelers to go swimming, snorkeling, windsurfing, or jet skiing. The beach does not house any hotels, but it is the home to many stores, restaurants, and bars.
An attraction that is becoming increasingly popular is the Trinidad mud volcano. The volcanoes found in Trinidad are not the same as what is found in other locations. Unlike other volcanoes when the Trinidad mud volcano erupts, lava and extremely hot gases are not what is released instead it is usually just bubbles. Methane is the gas that is most commonly connected with their mud volcanoes. For the most part these volcanoes are safe to get close to, but on occasion they can get very violent and erupt. A rare occurrence in Trinidad is mud volcanoes that are offshore rather than onshore, but they can be found throughout this location. One such offshore mud volcano can be found in Point Radix. Mud volcanoes will usually result in a formation with a conical shape composed of mud and clay.
Built in 1947 the Waterloo Temples are another of Trinidad's must see attractions. The temple was built by Seedan Sadhu who was an Indian laborer. The temple was destroyed at one time by the government, but Sadhu preserved and decided to build it again.
